Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing SAP CAR solutions to integrate point-of-sale data (POSDTA) across multiple retail and wholesale channels, ensuring accurate and real-time reporting. They will collaborate with business stakeholders to understand and define requirements for Cash and Carry Sales, integrating these processes into SAP systems.
The role includes configuring and optimizing SAP IS Retail modules to support store operations, pricing strategies, and inventory management. They will develop and support end-to-end POSDTA solutions, ensuring seamless data flow between POS systems and SAP CAR. The candidate will also design solutions to improve the operational efficiency of cash and carry processes, including bulk order management, pricing, and stock handling.
The SAP CAR Consultant will provide functional expertise in SAP CAR and related systems for real-time transaction processing, analytics, and reporting. They will work closely with cross-functional teams including logistics, finance, and inventory to deliver integrated business solutions. The role also involves delivering technical documentation, training, and support to end-users, ensuring smooth adoption of SAP CAR functionalities.
The candidate will conduct system testing, troubleshooting, and performance tuning to ensure the scalability and stability of solutions. They will also drive continuous improvement initiatives, identifying areas where SAP CAR functionalities can enhance business performance, particularly in retail and wholesale environments.
Qualifications:
The candidate must have 12+ years of experience as an SAP Consultant with a focus on SAP CAR. They should have strong working knowledge of POSDTA (Point of Sale Data Transfer and Audit) and proven experience with SAP IS Retail, including store operations, master data, pricing, and promotions.
Experience working with Cash and Carry Sales or wholesale distribution models is highly preferred. The candidate should have the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions, ensuring alignment with best practices. They should have excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude towards improving system performance.
Familiarity with SAP CAR analytics and how to use them to deliver business insights is crucial. Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels is also necessary.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
Experience with SAP F&R (Forecasting & Replenishment) and SAP HANA is a plus. Knowledge of integration with other SAP modules (e.g., FI, MM, SD) and non-SAP systems would be advantageous.
