Job Overview
The SAP S/4HANA Group Reporting Consultant with WRICEF experience will be responsible for implementing and managing group reporting solutions within the SAP S/4HANA ecosystem. The consultant will focus on designing, building, and deploying WRICEF (Workflow, Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, and Forms) components to support complex financial reporting and consolidation processes. This role requires expertise in group reporting, strong technical and functional knowledge, and excellent problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities
Group Reporting Implementation
Lead the implementation of SAP S/4HANA Group Reporting, ensuring alignment with business requirements for consolidation and financial reporting.
Configure and customize group reporting functionalities, including intercompany eliminations, data validation, and consolidation logic.
Support the integration of group reporting with SAP and non-SAP systems for data extraction and financial data consolidation.
WRICEF Development
Design and develop WRICEF objects independently to meet reporting, interface, and workflow requirements in financial consolidation projects.
Build customised reports for management and statutory reporting needs, leveraging advanced SAP reporting tools.
Develop and test interfaces between SAP S/4HANA Group Reporting and other systems (e.g., ECC, non-SAP systems, or legacy applications).
Technical Expertise and Support
Troubleshoot and resolve technical and functional issues related to group reporting and WRICEF objects.
Ensure data accuracy and integrity by validating data flows within SAP S/4HANA.
Collaborate with functional and technical teams to align system design with business objectives.
Stakeholder Engagement
Work closely with finance, IT, and business teams to gather and document requirements.
Provide expert advice to stakeholders on best practices for SAP S/4HANA Group Reporting and WRICEF development.
Deliver training and post-implementation support to end-users and key stakeholders.
Compliance and Documentation
Ensure compliance with financial reporting standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP) and regulatory requirements in all implemented solutions.
Maintain detailed documentation of configurations, WRICEF developments, and system workflows.
Provide input for audit requirements and ensure transparency in financial reporting processes.
Required Skills and Competencies
Technical Skills
Extensive experience with SAP S/4HANA Group Reporting module, including configuration and integration.
Strong knowledge of WRICEF components, especially in financial reporting environments.
Hands-on experience in ABAP development for enhancements and forms.
Familiarity with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), BPC, or other reporting tools is a plus.
Expertise in SAP Fiori apps related to group reporting and financial close processes.
Functional Knowledge
In-depth understanding of financial consolidation processes, intercompany eliminations, and statutory reporting requirements.
Knowledge of financial standards like IFRS, GAAP, or others.
Proficiency in handling data models, hierarchies, and data aggregation in group reporting.
Soft Skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify and resolve complex technical and functional issues.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Educational Background and Experience
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field.
Minimum 8+ years of experience in SAP implementation projects, with at least 3+ years focused on SAP S/4HANA Group Reporting.
Proven expertise in WRICEF development, preferably in financial domains.
SAP S/4HANA certification in Finance or Group Reporting is an advantage.
