Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4 HANA Program Manager with in-depth knowledge of the retail domain to lead end-to-end implementation, migration, and optimization projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing large-scale SAP S/4 HANA transformation programs for retail clients, ensuring that all deliverables are met on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
Program Leadership: Lead the design, implementation, and delivery of SAP S/4 HANA programs tailored to the retail industry, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Project Management: Manage multiple workstreams across various functional areas (Retail operations, Retail planning, Store inventory etc.) within the retail organization, ensuring seamless execution and integration.
Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with C-level executives, business stakeholders, and IT teams to define project goals, scope, and deliverables. Provide regular updates on program status, risks, and mitigation strategies.
Team Leadership: Manage cross-functional teams, including SAP functional consultants, technical developers, data migration teams, and business process owners to ensure effective project delivery.
Retail Expertise: Apply in-depth knowledge of retail processes (POS, inventory management, pricing, procurement, omnichannel retailing, etc.) to customize and optimize SAP S/4 HANA for retail-specific needs.
Risk Management: Identify and mitigate program risks by implementing effective governance and control frameworks.
Budget Management: Oversee program budgets, ensuring cost efficiency while meeting high-quality standards for program delivery.
Change Management: Develop and execute change management strategies to ensure smooth adoption of the SAP S/4 HANA solution across the organization, including end-user training and support.
Vendor Management: Manage relationships with SAP, system integrators, and third-party vendors to ensure proper delivery of services and solutions.
Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on SAP S/4 HANA retail functionalities, best practices, and emerging trends to continually improve the program delivery and system optimization.
Qualifications:
Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Business Administration, or related field. A Master’s degree or PMP certification is a plus.
SAP Expertise: 10+ years of experience in SAP program management, with at least 5 years of hands-on experience in SAP S/4 HANA implementations or migrations.
Retail Industry Knowledge: Extensive experience in the retail domain, with a deep understanding of retail operations, supply chain, pricing, and customer management systems.
Leadership Skills: Proven experience leading large, cross-functional teams in complex, multi-phase SAP implementations.
Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to manage both technical and business stakeholders.
Problem Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve project-related issues quickly and efficiently.
Certifications: PMP, Agile certification, or SAP S/4 HANA certification preferred.
