Position Overview:
We are looking for a highly skilled SAP AP (Assortment Planning) Functional Consultant to join our team in Dubai for a major greenfield SAP S/4 HANA on RISE transformation project within the retail industry. This role offers the opportunity to be part of a significant retail transformation in one of the most dynamic regions in the world. Visa sponsorship and relocation support are provided.
Key Responsibilities:
High-Level Design & Detailed Design:
Lead workshops with business users in Dubai to gather and document requirements related to Assortment Planning.
Develop comprehensive Business Process Documents (BPDs) and Functional Specification Documents (FSDs) for SAP Assortment Planning.
Configuration/Workbook Development:
Configure SAP AP modules based on business requirements and document all configurations in detailed workbooks.
Functional Unit Testing:
Create test scenarios, develop test scripts, and perform unit testing to ensure that the SAP AP system functions as expected.
Identify and resolve issues during the testing phase.
Support for IST/UAT:
Provide support during Integration System Testing (IST) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Resolve issues and provide guidance to ensure successful testing outcomes.
Change Management & Training:
Collaborate with the change management team to develop training materials and user documentation specific to SAP Assortment Planning.
Conduct user training sessions and provide ongoing support during the transition period.
Data Migration:
Coordinate with data migration teams to ensure accurate mapping, transformation, and loading of Assortment Planning data.
Validate data accuracy and integrity post-migration.
Go-Live & Hypercare:
Support the go-live process in Dubai, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
Provide on-site support during the Hypercare phase to troubleshoot and resolve any issues.
Qualifications:
Strong experience with SAP Assortment Planning, particularly within SAP S/4 HANA on RISE implementations.
Proven experience in greenfield SAP implementation projects within the retail industry.
Expertise in gathering business requirements, conducting workshops, and translating them into functional designs.
Proficiency in writing BPDs, FSDs, and configuring SAP systems for Assortment Planning.
Excellent problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail.
Effective communication skills, capable of working with both technical teams and business stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
SAP certification in Assortment Planning or related modules.
Experience in international projects or previous experience in the Middle East.
