Title: Senior Database Administrator
Job Location: Remote
Oversee the management of Microsoft SQL Server environments. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the performance, availability, and security of databases in our Microsoft stack. He will work closely with IT staff to develop architectural strategies at the database level and implement end-to-end solutions for data storage and retrieval.
Responsibilities:
Administer, maintain, and implement policies and procedures for ensuring the security and integrity of the company databases.
Optimize database systems for performance efficiency.
Perform database maintenance and troubleshooting activities.
Design and manage database strategies, system monitoring, and improving database performance and capacity, and planning for future expansion requirements.
Implement and oversee database policies, procedures, and standards, and ensure compliance with data management laws and regulations.
Develop and implement disaster recovery plans to ensure data completeness, security, and confidentiality.
Provide mentorship and guidance to other technical staff about database best practices.
