Job Summary:
As the Automation Test Manager for the SAP S/4 HANA Transformation, you will lead the design, implementation, and execution of a robust automated testing framework. You will oversee all testing activities, ensuring seamless integration of automated tests, and driving the transition from manual to automated testing for this transformation program.
Responsibilities:
Develop and define the overall testing strategy for the ERP transformation, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.
Design and implement a comprehensive automated testing framework tailored to SAP S/4 HANA requirements.
Lead the shift from manual to automated testing, ensuring minimal disruption and seamless integration.
Create detailed test plans covering unit, integration, system, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
Manage testing schedules, resources, and budgets to ensure effective coverage throughout the project lifecycle.
Oversee the creation and maintenance of detailed test cases and scripts, ensuring coverage of all functional and non-functional ERP system requirements.
Develop maintainable and reusable automated test scripts and ensure they are updated to reflect system changes.
Facilitate testing rounds, manage defect tracking, and ensure timely resolution of issues by coordinating with development teams.
Implement performance and load testing using the automated framework, ensuring the system can handle projected transaction volumes.
Integrate automated tests into the continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline for ongoing system integrity.
Provide regular updates on testing progress, results, and any issues to stakeholders.
Oversee post-implementation testing to ensure the ERP system functions as expected in the live environment.
Provide ongoing support and guidance during the stabilization period after go-live.
Skills/Requirements:
Experience setting up automation testing for SAP, with proven success in similar transformation programs is a must have.
Familiarity with Tricentis Tosca will be preferred.
Experience establishing automated testing frameworks and tools for large-scale programs.
Organized, detail-oriented, and collaborative, with a pragmatic approach to problem-solving.
Familiarity with integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
Strong leadership skills to mentor and support testing teams, ensuring technical guidance and progress.
