WordPress Developer
We're seeking a skilled WordPress developer with modern PHP expertise to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in WordPress development, including experience with Gutenberg, and a passion for creating elegant, efficient web solutions.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience in WordPress development
- Strong knowledge of modern PHP practices
- Extensive experience working with Gutenberg blocks
- Keen eye for design and user experience
- Familiarity with Linux environments, Nginx, Caddy, and LetsEncrypt
Highly Desirable Skills:
- Experience with Timber or Sage WordPress frameworks
- Experience in TailwindCSS
- Knowledge of Alpine.js
- Proficiency in image editing tools like Adobe CS, Canva or Affinity
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain WordPress websites and applications
- Create custom Gutenberg blocks and themes
- Implement responsive designs using TailwindCSS
- Optimize for search engines, website performance and security
- Collaborate with designers and other developers
- Monitor site and take actions on a regular basis
- Maintain the site with upgrades, fixes and patches
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Web Development, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 1-2 years of professional WordPress development experience
- Strong portfolio demonstrating WordPress projects and Gutenberg block development
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
