Balancing the trade-offs. Optimising outcomes.
Strategy is a plan to achieve one or more long-term or overall goals under conditions of uncertainty. It involves setting goals and priorities, determining actions to achieve the goals, and mobilising resources to execute the actions. Given the integral nature of technology, organisations now typically develop their business strategy and technology strategy together. Enterprise Architecture is a practice that applies architecture principles and methods to guide organisations through the business, information, process, and technology changes necessary to execute their strategies. These practices utilise the various aspects of an enterprise to identify, motivate, and achieve these changes.
