Role Purpose:
Develop, test, and deploy customizations for Microsoft Dynamics D365 as well as provide technical support for the existing installation.
Role Details – Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Develop Microsoft Dynamics D365 customizations based on specifications provided by functional and technical consultants
Integrate with various external systems
Support the existing software ecosystem by identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving issues reported by the users
Monitor and improve the performance of various components of the existing software ecosystem
Financial KPIs:
Deliver projects on time and within budget
Delivery change requests not leading to post go-live incidents and reworks
Deliver change requests not causing any system downtime
Deliver change requests not causing any harm to business operations
Functional/Technical Competencies:
Experience integrating to and from D365FO
Development and customization experience in D365FO
Experience testing and debugging performance issues in D365FO environments using SQL trace parsers, debugger, evaluating performance counters and SQL DMVs, etc.
Experience in applying customizations and hot fixes to D365FO
System administrative experience
Experience with SQL Server Integration Services, replication of OLAP data, and data warehousing.
Experience with D365FO Workflow
Experience with D365FO BI integration
Excellent English language skills, both written and spoken
Excellent communication skills (presenting to and supporting customers)
Ability to work alone or within a team
Ability to manage BYOD
Ability to write SQL procedures and Functions
Ability to use DMF including recurring integrations
Azure Dev-Ops knowledge with Git and TFVC
Ability to consume third-party APIs from within D365FO
Personal Characteristics and Required Background:
Minimum experience
10+ years of experience as Microsoft Dynamics D365 technical specialist
3+ years of experience Dynamics 365 Retail
Minimum Qualifications/education
Bachelor or Masters in Business or IT
Microsoft Dynamics AX Installation & Configuration Certification
Microsoft Dynamics AX Development Certification
Microsoft SQL Database Administration Certification is a plus
