Job Role:
As an Azure Cloud Infrastructure and Network Architect, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing Azure-based infrastructure solutions for our retail clients. You will play a key role in ensuring the provisioning, reliability, security, and scalability of our clients' cloud environments while providing expert guidance on Azure best practices.
Responsibilities:
Design, deploy, and manage Azure infrastructure and networking solutions tailored to meet the specific needs of retail clients.
Provide expertise in implementing Azure services such as Virtual Machines, Networking, Storage, Identity and Access Management (IAM), and Security.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to architect scalable and resilient cloud solutions that align with client requirements and industry standards.
Configure and optimize Azure resources for performance, cost efficiency, and reliability.
Implement and maintain Azure governance policies, compliance standards, and security controls.
Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption to business operations.
Develop and maintain documentation, including architecture diagrams, standard operating procedures, and knowledge base articles.
Stay updated on the latest Azure features, tools, and best practices, and recommend innovative solutions to enhance client infrastructure.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members as needed.
Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery within defined timelines and budget constraints.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Minimum 8 years of experience in IT infrastructure management, with at least 5 years of hands-on experience in designing and implementing Azure solutions.
Expertise in Azure services such as Virtual Machines, Azure Active Directory, Azure Networking, VPNs, Azure Security Center, Azure Monitor, and Azure Policy.
Strong understanding of cloud architecture principles, including high availability, disaster recovery, and scalability.
Proficiency in scripting and automation using PowerShell, Azure CLI, or ARM templates.
Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in Azure environments.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
Azure certifications such as AZ-900, AZ-104, AZ-303, and AZ-304 are preferred.
Proven track record of delivering successful Azure infrastructure and networking projects in a retail or similar industry context.
