Job Summary
YALLO Retail is looking for an experienced Business Analyst – Order Management System (OMS) to support digital transformation projects in the Retail and eCommerce domain. The ideal candidate will work closely with Retail and Supply Chain leaders to optimize Order Management processes, streamline fulfilment strategies, and drive operational efficiencies.
Key Responsibilities
1. Requirements Gathering & Analysis
Engage with business stakeholders (Supply Chain, eCommerce, Operations, IT) to understand order processing challenges and system requirements.
Define and document end-to-end OMS workflows, including order capture, allocation, routing, fulfilment, invoicing, and returns management.
Conduct gap analysis between existing OMS capabilities and business needs, recommending enhancements or new solutions.
Translate functional business requirements into detailed technical specifications for development teams.
2. OMS Solution Design & Implementation
Work with Technology & Solution Architects to design and optimise OMS workflows, ensuring seamless integration with ERP, WMS, TMS, POS, and eCommerce platforms.
Partner with IT teams and third-party vendors to oversee OMS configuration, testing, and deployment.
3. Integration & Data Management
Collaborate with Middleware, API, and Integration teams to ensure smooth data exchange between OMS and inventory, payment, shipping, and CRM systems.
Support API-led integrations between OMS and third-party logistics providers (3PLs), marketplaces, and payment gateways.
4. Vendor & Stakeholder Management
Act as the key liaison between Retail Operations, IT, eCommerce, Logistics, and third-party OMS vendors.
Manage relationships with technology providers, ensuring project milestones and deliverables align with business goals.
Participate in RFPs and vendor selection processes for OMS solutions, ensuring alignment with scalability and flexibility needs.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
8-10 years of experience in Business Analysis within the Retail, eCommerce, or Logistics industry.
Prior experience working with OMS platforms, Order Processing, and Fulfilment technologies.
Experience in the Middle East Retail market (preferred but not mandatory).
Strong understanding of end-to-end OMS processes, including order capture, fulfilment, returns, and payment reconciliation.
Experience in implementing leading OMS platforms such as IBM Sterling OMS, Manhattan OMS, Oracle OMS, Salesforce Order Management, Blue Yonder OMS, or custom-built solutions.
