Overview
The BY WMS Functional Consultant will work within the Consulting Services team at YALLO Retail to lead and manage the solution design and implementation of complex projects for our clients. This individual will be responsible for ensuring project success by effectively communicating with clients, managing project timelines, and leading solution teams. They will be accountable for the overall technical design, implementation and delivery of end-to-end solutions, and will work closely with the clients and the project teams to ensure that the solutions align with the client's business objectives and meet their technical requirements.
Scope:
Core responsibilities focus your efforts as a functional consultant for Blue Yonder WMS (Discrete) solution implementations for customers across the EMEA region.
You will support the functional engagement across of key stakeholders, including key customer contacts, Project Managers, Technical Consultants, and 3rd Party Consultants, to drive the timely and successful deliver
What you’ll do (Responsibilities):
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle
Identify and manage project risks and issues
Design and implement end-to-end solutions based on client requirements and best practices
Continuously evaluate and improve solution processes and tools.
Conducts functional analysis sessions with clients and/or the project team to understand the functional needs of the client and develop functional solutions to meet those needs.
Work closely with the clients and other project teams to ensure that the solutions align with the client's business objectives and meet their technical requirements.
Provide variety of functional support to the project team; including a quality assurance/design review, environment setup, software installation, configuration, report and label generation, operation consulting, troubleshooting, system testing & programming.
Collaborate with the project managers, delivery partners, and other stakeholders to ensure that the solutions are delivered on-time, on-budget, and to the client's satisfaction.
Works as a member of a consulting team on product implementation, enhancement, managed services, integration, custom projects either at the customer site or offshore
Desired Experience:
Total 5-10 years of overall Warehouse Management implementation/deployment experience in BY WMS (Discrete)
Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and Warehouse Labor Management (WLM) knowledge preferable
Supply Chain or Industrial Engineering degree preferred
Possess Techno-Functional knowledge in the Warehouse Management space
Technical Skills and Abilities:
SQL, PL/SQL, MOCA, JAVA, Reporting, Page Builder
Experience of integration with ERP/Host systems, Voice Integration and WCS integration
Debugging & Trouble shooting knowledge
Ability to learn new solutions/ features and demonstrate to customer.
Provide technical and solution leadership during Critical/Major issues.
Must be well organized and able to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills necessary to work effectively with customer teams and cross functional teams.
