Job Description:
We are seeking an IT Business Partner for Retail Operations to serve as the primary interface between our Information Technology department and the retail operations. This role is critical for integrating and optimizing IT solutions that support our supply chain, operations, and commercial functions. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of retail processes, especially within grocery and supermarket settings, coupled with robust IT and strategic planning skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the main IT contact for the Retail Operations department, ensuring seamless communication and alignment between IT services and retail needs.
Gather detailed requirements and analyze the needs of supply chain, operations, and commercial sectors to develop tailored IT solutions.
Manage the development, deployment, and lifecycle of retail-specific IT products and systems.
Ensure IT strategies align with the operational goals of the retail units, facilitating technology-driven solutions to enhance operational efficiency and commercial performance.
Lead strategic planning with retail management to ensure IT systems are aligned with both current needs and long-term business strategies.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in information technology, Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field.
Extensive experience in IT management within a retail or supermarket environment, with a focus on supply chain and operations.
Strong knowledge of retail processes, supply chain management, and commercial operations in the grocery sector.
Proven ability in project management, business analysis, and strategic planning.
Excellent communication and leadership skills, capable of fostering strong relationships with various stakeholders and influencing decision-making processes.
